It's Day 9 of National Novel Writing Month - or NaNoWriMo as it's known. It's an initiative to try to help writers write the first draft of a novel in a month. This is the third time I've tried it and in other years have kept at it until mid way through the month, when life has taken over. So far this year I've managed to be disciplined and write a bit every day. I'm not aiming for 50,000 words by the end of the month, but I am trying to write at least 1000 a day and so far I've made it to 12,023.
