Back at Coney

Good to be back down at Coney Island again yesterday.

After our writing retreat a few weeks ago it was good to get back again. With wall to wall sunshine for two days, fabulous food and drink, great company, fun times and inspiration from each other we have all made significant progress in the writing we were working on.

And with potential interest in some of our work from a publisher we're feeling energised, revitalised, excited and raring to go! Now to get back to the writing......

An afternoon with Brian McGilloway

Very pleased that I was able to get a slot at the Creative Writing Clinic with local established writer Brian McGilloway today.  It was a very productive afternoon with an encouraging, supportive author.  He gave me useful feedback on my work, with suggestions for where I might make some improvements. 

Feeling inspired to get stuck into this piece and move the character and the story forward :-)

Bliss!

Bliss! Curling up on the sofa on a cold night with the new edition of Writing magazine. What a lovely way to unwind!

Back at Coney Island

Lovely to be back down at Coney Island yesterday morning in the bright spring sunshine. With the sun warming our backs we exercised our writing brains once more, taking well-earned breaks for coffee and chocanana muffins to keep the inspiration flowing :-)
